I'm sure people reading this forum will be familiar with all these features but how many of your friends and family are? It's only because we watch the Keynotes and read great sites like AppleInsider that we know about it but realistically we're a tiny minority. Sure this kind of stuff in Windows is way harder and less reliable than on a Mac (ever tried Bluetooth file transfer from Windows) but Apple should still go the extra mile to make this stuff easier to find and use. If Apple could find a way to make these things easier and more obvious it would be enormously beneficial and really help to promote the Mac. Especially for people who manage multiple computers with VNC and already own Screens for iOS, Screens for Mac’s Library view is superior to Apple’s Connect To Server dialog, and the app’s on-disconnect actions can help in automating aspects of remote connections to save time. However, after a couple of hours use the screen has. Overall, Screens 3 brings welcome design updates and features that take advantage of Mavericks for a VNC app that’s versatile, powerful, and a pleasure to use on both iOS 7 and OS X.

Install Screens Connect, our free utility on your Mac or Windows PC and make it reachable from. The level of privacy it provides is very good and the matt side provides a good anti-glare protection.

I work in a technical environment with several software developers, enthusiast and Mac owners but very few find features like this. Screens can connect to Macs, Linux, Raspberry Pi and Windows PCs.

I have the same frustration with Photos object recognition and AirDrop - both are stunning and "just work" but I've never ever anybody offer to Airdrop anything to me nor found anybody who knew about Photo search. Setting up Back to My Mac can be a bit fiddly too but the biggest problem is that it's so well hidden that very few people know it's possible. Are you saying Screens 4 is much more efficient and uses less bandwidth? I appreciate Apple's Back to My Mac can't be used from an iPad etc and I can say that would be useful although I can't understand why Apple themselves, with their almost limitless resources, don't offer this. I've used it to connect to my MacBook at home from my office over WiFi or cellular 4G and it's worked very well (admittedly with connections >30Mbit/s). I'd be interested to know why Apple's Back to My Mac feature is intended for use on the same network. Apple's one is truly intended for people on the same wifi network
